OLD RETAIL BECOMING NEW: A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

The Harvard Club of Victoria and ShineWing Australia cordially invite you to a lunch presentation on Wednesday the 29th of August 2018.

Traditional retail around the world is going through a profound transformation.  After years of being besieged by eCommerce players, the brick-and-mortar retailers are finally waking up to the digital world.   In fact, we are observing substantial changes in every aspect of the retail business, from payment, procurement, shop design to consumer interactions and real time data tracking.   We believe a few retailers in China and the US are pioneers in this revolution, and expect this trend to continue on a global scale over the next few years.

Qiao Ma is well placed to provide insights into this exciting and fast-evolving trend after spending 8 years investing extensively in Asia and technology companies globally.  She will showcase real life examples of ‘new retail’, and how Australian businesses can capitalize in this tremendous opportunity.
