We are delighted to invite you to HMS Prof. Jamie Jacobs’s talk on April 29th at 6:30 pm EDT (April 30th 8:00am AEST): "Expanding Your Emergency Management Skills: Coping with Stress and Preventing Burnout."

The Zoom link will be provided to those who register via Eventbrite by April 27th. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email the Harvard Alumni Disaster Preparedness and Response Team SIG at hadisasterhelp@gmail.com
.

As the newest HAA SIG, we would like to introduce ourselves to you. The Harvard Alumni Disaster Preparedness and Response Team SIG is focused on reaching out to help Harvard Alumni with specific needs wherever there is a disaster, attack, or other events as reported in the press. This effort includes identifying knowledge and networking resources that we can access or make available to fill a targeted need as well as contacting local Alumni to evaluate whether what is actually happening is consistent with what is being reported by the press and post information that has been verified.

All Alumni, their spouses, and surviving spouses are welcome to join. We each have something to give whether it is experience, knowledge, or concern and caring.

Dr. Jacobs is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a Clinical Psychologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cancer Center.
