Inaugral “Harvard Gives Back” event

Join us for the first ever “Harvard Gives Back”, an event we hope will be a permanent fixture in our annual events calendar. This night gives Harvard alumni an opportunity to connect with other alum, while giving back to our community by volunteering for an evening. This year’s event will be held at FareShare in their kitchen in Abbotsford at 1 South Audley Street. FareShare rescues surplus food and cooks free nutritious meals for people doing it tough.
Plan to arrive at 6pm when you would be met and briefed by one of FareShare’s passionate chefs who will lead and accompany our group in the kitchen during the evening when you would get involved in food preparation and cooking meals for people doing it tough in our community. You will have the opportunity to sample what you have cooked so you understand how nutritious and delicious our FareShare meals are.

The Harvard Alumni crew will be volunteering until 8:30pm – early enough to adjourn to a local pub or restaurant for supper or drinks if you wish to continue the fun and merriment. Please email mandy@harvardclubofvictoria.org.au, if you would like to join others for dinner afterwards and we will coordinate a booking at a restaurant nearby.
Spots to participate are limited, therefore we ask that you register below.
