LUNCHTIME SERIES WITH DR. MARIE-CHRISTINE NIZZI

Thriving in 2025: Building Mental Resilience and Wellbeing

The Lunchtime Series provides unique opportunities to hear cutting-edge learnings from recent Harvard graduates and alumni who are having a positive impact on the world.

For our first Lunchtime Series event of 2025, the Club is delighted to host Dr. Marie-Christine Nizzi. With a clinical psychology PhD from Harvard, Marie-Christine will share her insights and advice on improving mental wellbeing and building resilience for the unpredictable, uncertain, and often confusing world in which we live, where many of our old assumptions may no longer hold true.

Marie-Christine is on the faculty of the UCLA School of Medicine and is also a practising clinical pyschologist and cognitive coach to high achieving senior executives and leading sports and entertainment figures. She was named 2018 Harvard Horizons Scholar for her work with U.S. veterans and in 2023 received the Harvard Alumni Outstanding Community Impact award. She continues to be closely involved with the alumni community as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Harvard Alumni for Mental Health, HAA Director of Professional Shared Interest Groups and Board Member of the Harvard Club of Southern California. In addition to her Harvard PhD and Master of Science degree, she also holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University Paris Sorbonne and a number of other advanced degrees.
