EXCLUSIVE ARCHITECTURAL TOUR OF TWO NEW harvard alumni designed LANDMARKS, FOLLOWED BY DRINKS

Tour the soon-to-be-complete Bennetts Lane development and visit the skybridge level of the nearby Sapphire by the Gardens / Shangri-La towers

Thursday 19th of June in two time slots (each time slot limited to 12 participants): starting at 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM

Visit two of the most striking additions to Melbourne's skyline in recent years in the northeastern corner of the CBD and then mix with fellow Harvard alumni over drinks.

Both groups (3:00 pm and 3:30 pm) will start with a guided tour of Bennetts Lane, an exciting mixed-use project designed by leading architects fjcstudio (formerly FJMT Studio). This part of the tour will be led by GSD alumnus and the leader of fjcstudio in Melbourne, Geoff Croker. Geoff has also taught at Harvard and will make a short presentation on the design of Bennetts Lane. For safety reasons, each group is restricted to 12 participants (please see additional safety requirements below).

Following each group's respective tour of Bennetts Lane, each group will visit the skybridge level of the nearby Sapphire by the Gardens tower and (weather permitting) enjoy spectacular views over the city.

The event will conclude with informal drinks combining the 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm groups at Caretaker's Cottage, which ranked 21st on The World's 50 Best Bars list in 2024. (We anticipate that the 3:00 pm group will start drinks at 4:00 pm and the 3:30 pm group will join at 4:30 pm.)
