The Lunchtime Series provides unique opportunities to hear cutting-edge learnings from Harvard graduates and alumni who are having a positive impact on the world. For our fourth Lunchtime Series event of the year, HCV and MIT are delighted to host Robert Wickham & Professor Vishaal Kishore. Robert and Vishaal are General Partners at Synthesis Capital - an early stage medtech focused venture capital fund. Vishaal is also the co-founder of the Medtech Actuator - Asia Pacific's leading accelerator for health related startups.
 

Robert Wickham, SB, SM (MIT), MBA (Harvard)
Robert is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in leading technology-based businesses. He is skilled in building go-to-market teams, strategic planning, operational management, and delivering results. Robert’s career spans leadership roles at Salesforce and Oracle, as well as foundational experiences in management consulting and entrepreneurship.
 

He is an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, and he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. His commitment to MIT is long-standing, having served in many alumni leadership roles, and was honored with the MIT Bronze Beaver Award for his distinguished service. Presently, he is the immediate past President of the MIT Alumni Association and a member of the MIT Board of Trustees. He is also an inaugural member of the Fatima College Hall of Fame.


Professor Vishaal Kishore, LLB (Hons) (Melb), LLM, SJD (Harvard)
Professor Kishore is an expert in health system innovation and transformation. He is also a Professor of Innovation & Public Policy at RMIT University where he leads the pathbreaking RMIT-Cisco Health Transformation Lab. He regularly advises governments, NGOs and corporates in respect of strategy, public policy and innovation.

Holding a doctorate from Harvard University, Vishaal has served as Deputy Secretary at the Department of Health & Human Services; Director for government strategy within EY’s management consulting practice; and an M&A lawyer at Mallesons and Freehills.
