Harvard Gives Back - Clean Up Australia Day
HCV members, Harvard alumni and their guests are invited to give back to our community by volunteering at Clean Up Australia Day in the beautiful Treasury Gardens in East Melbourne. Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to eliminate litter, reduce waste and create a cleaner, healthier Australia. Education is key to impact and the Clean Up Australia team aim to foster a deeper understanding of how we can protect and conserve our environment. This is a wonderful event to bring along your children – to have some fun while teaching them the importance of conservation.
Please bring gardening gloves with you, wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather! We will be scouring the Treasury Gardens to pick up waste (a litter hotspot, according to the Melbourne City Council). Join us as the Harvard Club of Victoria gives back to make a tangible difference in our community.
